“Stay Cool & Celebrate Summer” Ice Cream Sundae & Milkshake Promotion

Hoffman’s Chocolates is pleased to announce the launch of its new “Stay Cool & Celebrate Summer” promotion featuring its scrumptious NEW limited edition ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. The promotion, which will run now through Sunday, July 31st, will benefit United Way of Broward County’s ReadingPals Program and United Way of Palm Beach County’s partner — the Literacy Coalition. Hoffman’s Chocolates fans will also have a chance to win FREE chocolate for a year.

Highlighting the promotion are Hoffman’s Chocolates new ice cream sundae and milkshake flavors, all created with Hoffman’s gourmet chocolates, as listed below:

Ice Cream Sundaes:

A nutty twist on a traditional banana split, the Choco Nana Peanut Butter Pie is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth — one scoop each of Banana Cream Pie and Captain Chocolate ice creams covered in Caramel Sauce, Hoffman’s Hot Fudge, Hoffman’s Peanut Butter Delight and Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Pillow confections, topped with whipped cream and crushed peanuts.

Dig in for a chocolate surprise with Captain Hoffman’s Buried Treasure – one scoop each of Vanilla Bean and Captain’s Chocolate ice creams, placed on top of two Hoffman’s Milk Chocolate Meltaways, smothered in Hoffman’s Hot Fudge; and topped with whipped cream and chopped pecan pralines.

Java lovers will be in for a sweet jolt with the Salted Coffee Chaos – one scoop each of Stella Coffee and Vanilla Bean ice creams drenched in Hoffman’s Hot Fudge and topped with Hoffman’s chopped Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel, Hoffman’s Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Crunch, whipped cream and half of a Hoffman’s famous Dark Chocolate Pretzel.

Beat the heat and try a cool, minty treat with the Mint to Be Mine – two scoops of Mint Chip ice cream topped with Hoffman’s chopped Dark Chocolate Nonpareils, Hoffman’s Hot Fudge Drizzle, whipped cream and a Hoffman’s Mint Meltaway.

Milkshakes:

Float away to the tropics as you sip the luscious Coconut Getaway – Toasted Coconut and Captain’s Chocolate ice creams blended with milk and Hoffman’s Dark Chocolate Coconut Haystacks, and topped with whipped cream and a crushed Hoffman’s Dark Chocolate Coconut Haystack.

Soak up the citrus with the Sun Kissed Sicle – Dreamsicle ice cream blended with milk, a Hoffman’s Tangerine Creme and Hoffman’s Dark Chocolate Bark and topped with whipped cream and shaved Dark Chocolate Bark.

Shake it up with the sensational Banana Hoffsters — Banana Cream Pie and Dolce de Leche Cheesecake ice creams blended with milk, Hoffman’s Dark Swiss Chocolate Rum Truffle, Caramel Sauce, Apple Pie Mix and Pecan Pralines, topped with whipped cream, Caramel Drizzle and Apple Pie Mix.

These exciting new treats, which were all created using Hoffman’s gourmet chocolates and confections, were chosen through a friendly internal competition among Hoffman’s Chocolates employees. On May 18th, managers and employees from Hoffman’s Chocolates’ nine Broward and Palm Beach County locations presented original ice cream sundae and milkshake creations to a panel of celebrity judges which included Paul Castronova, South Florida’s most famous radio personality hosting the Paul and Young Ron Show every morning on Big 105.9 and President of Castronovo Vineyards; Jarett Levan, CEO of BBX Capital, parent company of Hoffman’s Chocolates; Kathleen Cannon, President/CEO of United Way of Broward County; Laurie George, CEO of United Way of Palm Beach County; and Allen Susser, Renowned Chef and Owner of Chef Allen’s Consulting. After tasting all of the mouthwatering treats, the panel chose the sundaes and milkshakes that will be featured in the summer promotion.

In addition, all guests are invited to visit any Hoffman’s Chocolates location to share how they “Stay Cool & Celebrate” by taking photos of themselves enjoying any Hoffman’s Chocolates treat and sharing via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #CelebrateWithHoffmans. One photo will be selected randomly, and the winner will receive FREE chocolate for a year!

New store at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport opens

Now sweet-toothed travelers can get their fix.

Hoffman’s Chocolates has opened at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The store is in Terminal 4 just after security clearance and offers more than 70 types of pre-packaged chocolates and confectionary items.

Today the Broward Center for the Performing Arts celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Student Enrichment through the Arts (SEAS) program and 3 million students. Hoffman’s Chocolates Marketing Director, Lois Marino, presented Kelly Shanley, CEO of the Broward Center, with an amazing gift basket and a Chocolate Basketball Basket to the 3 millionth student, Eric Mehmi from Croissant Park Elementary.

Jason Taylor joins us to celebrate National Poetry Month

We were honored to have Miami Dolphins legend Jason Taylor join us in celebrating National Poetry Month at our store in Weston. We presented him with a check for the Jason Taylor Foundation, and were entertained by the poets from the Omari Hardwick bluapple Poetry Network.

Hoffman’s Chocolates to Donate 10% of All Gourmet Caramel Apple Sales to Jason Taylor Foundation during month of April

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 31, 2016)Hoffman’s Chocolates, a subsidiary of BBX Capital (NYSE: BBX), is pleased to announce that it will be celebrating National Poetry Month in April by teaming up with the Jason Taylor Foundation to support the young poets of the Omari Hardwick bluapple Poetry Network. Through the partnership, Hoffman’s Chocolates will donate 10% of all of its Gourmet Caramel Apple sales during the month of April to the Jason Taylor Foundation. The Omari Hardwick bluapple Poetry Network is an after-school spoken word poetry program serving students in South Florida Public Schools through the Jason Taylor Foundation.

Hoffman’s Chocolates recently introduced its decadent new line of Gourmet Caramel Apples to its vast selection of chocolates and confections. The Gourmet Caramel Apples are available in the chocolatier’s eight retail locations in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. In addition, a Hoffman’s Signature Blue Caramel Apple will be on display in each store to symbolize the Omari Hardwick bluapple Poetry Network and to help raise awareness of National Poetry Month.

The Jason Taylor Foundation’s mission is to support and create programs that facilitate the personal growth and empowerment of South Florida’s children in need by focusing on improved health care, education and quality of life. In addition to setting up the Omari Hardwick bluapple Poetry Network, the Jason Taylor Foundation has also created the “Louder than A Bomb Florida” competition. Dubbed the “Super Bowl of Poetry,” Louder than a Bomb Florida features a friendly spoken-word competition between school-based poetry teams representing local high schools from Broward County, Miami-Dade and beyond.

Chocolate bunnies top confection as Easter sales to set record

With Easter-related spending expected to reach a record high this year, the candy crew at Hoffman’s Chocolates has spent the past month making sure they have enough chocolate bunnies and creme-filled eggs to fill baskets across South Florida this weekend.

Chocolatiers at the 40-year-old brand have made more than 15,000 candy bunnies, ranging from 2.5 ounces up to 25 pounds, said Lois Marino, Hoffman’s Director of Marketing. The company also expects to sell more than 6,000 chocolate eggs filled with a variety of favors. Each of the eggs weighs a quarter of a pound, Marino said.

What new tasty treat is Hoffman’s Chocolates selling?

Hoffman’s Chocolates is offering what it’s calling a “decadent” new line of gourmet caramel apples to its wide selection of chocolate and confections.

The new apples debuted Monday in eight locations in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. There’s a Hoffman’s Chocolate on Lake Avenue and another on Lake Worth Road in Greenacres.

Hoffman’s Chocolates creates sweet treats for Valentine’s Day

With only a few days left before Valentine’s Day, employees at Hoffman’s Chocolates are up early Friday morning creating a variety of sweet treats.

Based in Greenacres, Fla., Hoffman’s has 70 different varieties of candies and chocolate.

All of the strawberries used by Hoffman’s are Florida-grown on a farm just outside Tampa.

Hoffman’s Chocolates opens its ninth location

Greenacres-based Hoffman’s Chocolates has opened its ninth retail location.

The new store — in the Weston Town Center, 1727 Main St., Weston — is 1,000 square feet and has eight employees, the company said in a news release.

Included in the Weston store is an ice cream counter serving 32 flavors, in addition to Hoffman’s Chocolates’ selection of more than 70 types of treats.

Hoffman’s Chocolates’ Winter Wonderland lights up South Florida

Those wanting to get into the winter holiday spirit needn’t go far, as Hoffman’s Chocolates’ 25th Annual Winter Wonderland in Greenacres is officially open to the public.

The holiday display, which is free, has become an annual tradition for many South Florididans who annually make the pilgrimage to the garden at 5190 Lake Worth Road. It’s open 6-10 p.m. nightly.
