29th ANNUAL WINTER WONDERLAND

PRESENTED BY JOE DIMAGGIO CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Hoffman’s Chocolates Factory, Shoppe, Ice Cream Parlour and Gardens, located in Greenacres (5190 Lake Worth Road), is pleased to announce its 29TH Annual Winter Wonderland presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital will open to the public beginning on Saturday, November 16. The opening night festivities will include a Food Drive benefitting Palm Beach State College Panther’s Food Pantry. Hoffman’s Chocolates is asking guests to please bring a can of food or other non-perishables that will be donated to the Food Pantry.

Hoffman’s Chocolates 29th Annual Winter Wonderland presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital will have more than 120,000 dazzling LED lights, captivating holiday light displays and archways, a 12-foot LaCroix Sparkling Christmas tree, life-sized Nutcrackers, and food trucks. This year, guests can take their photos with Santa in the Santa’s Village presented by KeyStaff every night from November 29 – December 23. The gourmet chocolatier is also excited to introduce its updated Hanukkah display presented by Florida Blue which will include a 9-foot Dreidel and other festive Hanukkah décor. Visitors will also be able to once again skate outdoors on real ice at the Florida Panthers Hockey Holidays Ice Rink located in front of Hoffman’s Chocolate’s Factory and Shoppe.

Hoffman’s Chocolates Winter Wonderland presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital will be free and open to the public nightly, November 16 through December 30, 2019, from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. (excludes Thanksgiving Day-11/28, Christmas Eve-12/24, and Christmas Day-12/25). *The hours of operation and cost for ice skating at the Florida Panthers Hockey Holidays Ice Rink are listed separately below.

“We are so excited to have all our community partners involved this year to help us make this holiday tradition amazing year after year,” said Lois Marino, Director of Community Engagement for Hoffman’s Chocolates. “In addition, our new and updated immersive holiday displays are sure to be more festive than ever.”

Patrons can also register in advance to participate in a Hoffman’s Chocolates Holiday Factory Tour and Chocolate Class presented by Greenspoon Marder which will include a special behind-the-scenes interactive tour through Hoffman’s Chocolates Chocolate Factory, a special chocolate craft and a scoop of Hoffman’s Chocolates ice cream. Space is limited and the cost is $24.95 per person.

Hoffman’s Chocolates’ festively decorated Factory and Shoppe will offer mouthwatering treats for the whole family including seasonal ice cream flavors and Hoffman’s seasonal Milkshakes. Hoffman’s Chocolates Shoppe is also the perfect destination to find the sweetest holiday gifts.  Hoffman’s gourmet chocolates, specialty gifts and gift baskets are perfect for family, friends, loved ones, teachers, stocking stuffers and corporate gifts. Florida Panthers Hockey Holidays Ice RinkA 2,400-square foot outdoor real ice-skating rink, located in the front of Hoffman’s Chocolates Factory, where children and adults of all ages can experience winter joy in sunny South Florida. Each ice-skating session is 60 minutes. Florida Panthers’ mascot Stanley will make periodic appearances. For more information, please visit www.FloridaPanthers.com/HolidayRink.

*Ice skating tickets include skate rental: General admission tickets are $15 including skate rentals, group admission (10+ skaters) is $13, and military and first responders are $10 (Valid ID required). A portion of the proceeds of each ticket sold will go back to the Florida Panthers Foundation.

Ice skating rink hours of operation: The outdoor holiday rink will officially open on November 16 and the hours of operation will be Wednesday through Monday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The rink will be closed on all Tuesdays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The rink will open through December 30, 2019.

Santa’s Village presented by KeyStaff – An expanded holiday village decorated with poinsettias and holiday cheer, where Santa will have Meet & Greets with all his guests and pose for photos. Guests are welcome to bring their own cameras. Santa will be there every night from November 29 through December 23. Mrs. Claus will join Santa during various nights throughout the holiday season.

Holiday Wreath Program presented by Florida Window & DoorAn elaborate wreath display and contest that supports local nonprofits in the South Florida community.  The gourmet chocolatier has invited 10 nonprofit organizations (total) from Palm Beach and Broward counties to decorate custom wreaths that will be displayed during Winter Wonderland.  Throughout the holiday season, Winter Wonderland guests will be able to vote for their favorite wreath.  Hoffman’s Chocolates will then donate $1,000 to the organization that receives the most votes. Hoffman’s Chocolates provided each participating nonprofit with 48-inch wreath and $250 to cover the cost of supplies needed to decorate the wreath. The winning wreath will be announced the first week in January 2020.

Participating Broward County nonprofits include: Everglades Foundation, Flamingo Gardens, Habitat for Humanity, In Jacob’s Shoes, and No More Tears

Participating Palm Beach County nonprofits include: Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Future 6 Helping Hand, KidSafe, Little Smiles, and Place of Hope

Florida Panthers Hockey Holidays Ice Rink

The rink will be closed on all Tuesdays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Lighting of the Hanukkah Menorah

December 26 – The Hanukkah Menorah lighting will take place at sundown in the Community Corner of Hoffman’s Chocolates Winter Wonderland.Santa Claus will be available nightly for photos on Friday, November 29 – Monday, December 23:    Mrs. Claus will join Santa during various nights throughout the holiday season. Santa and Mrs. Claus will leave promptly at 10 p.m. on December 23 to deliver presents and start their journey back to the North Pole.

Winter Wonderland opens November 18th

Hoffman’s Chocolates is pleased to announce that its 27th Annual Winter Wonderland will open to the public on Saturday, November 18 and it will be adding an exciting new attraction this year — Panthers in Palm Beach Ice Skating Rink presented by the Florida Panthers. The 2,400 square-foot, outdoor ice skating rink will be located in front of Hoffman’s Chocolates Factory, Shoppe, Ice Cream Parlour and Gardens in Greenacres (5190 Lake Worth Road). Made with real ice, the rink will be kept cool at 32 degrees for guests to enjoy a true outdoor ice skating experience in South Florida.  

 

“We are incredibly excited to partner with the Florida Panthers for our 27th Annual Winter Wonderland,” said Lois Marino, Director of Community Engagement. “The Panthers in Palm Beach Ice Skating Rink compliments our Winter Wonderland perfectly allowing guests to make a day or evening out of visiting our factory – they can ice skate, indulge in some chocolate or ice cream while enjoying our holiday light display.”

Lauderdale and Hoffman’s Chocolates to offer a unique & family-friendly ice skating experience to our South Florida Community”

 

Featuring more than 125,000 LED lights, captivating holiday displays, a giant Christmas tree, live entertainment, and photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus, Winter Wonderland will be open nightly, November 18 through December 30, from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. and is FREE to the public. Panthers in Palm Beach Ice Skating Rink will be open November 18  through December 30.  Ice skating tickets will be $15 each for general admission; $13 per person for groups of 10 or more; and $10 per person for military veterans and first responders; for a 60 minute skate session. The cost includes skate rental.  Hours of operation for the ice skating rink will be Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.  Both Winter Wonderland and the ice skating rink will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The rink will have early closure on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. (Winter Wonderland will be closed).

 

In addition to the Panthers in Palm Beach Ice Skating Rink, Hoffman’s Chocolates will also introduce its new Holiday Chocolate Class and Factory Tour with Santa. The exclusive tour will include a behind-the-scenes tour through Hoffman’s Chocolate Factory, a meet and greet with Santa Claus, a special chocolate craft and a scoop of Hoffman’s ice cream. Hoffman’s Chocolates will also host its 2nd Annual Circle of Celebration Holiday Wreath Display and Contest at Winter Wonderland to support local nonprofits in the South Florida community.  The gourmet chocolatier has invited 10 nonprofit organizations total from Palm Beach and Broward County to decorate custom wreaths that will be displayed at Winter Wonderland.  Throughout the holiday season, Winter Wonderland guests will be able to vote for their favorite wreath.  Hoffman’s Chocolates will then donate $1,000.00 to the winning organization.   • San Francisco Puffs & Stuffs Inc. Concessionaire will be onsite serving delicious food onsite for guests to enjoy.
  • Panthers in Palm Beach Ice Skating Shoppe will be located adjacent to the rink where guests can purchase Florida Panthers merchandise including T-shirts, hats and gloves.

HOFFMAN’S CHOCOLATES PARTNERS WITH NEIGHBORS4NEIGHBORS TO ADOPT FAMILIES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Greenacres, Fla. (October xx, 2017)Hoffman’s Chocolates announced today that it will partner with Neighbors4Neighbors this holiday season to support the organization’s “Adopt a Family 4 The Holidays” initiative. Hoffman’s Chocolates nine retail stores and corporate office headquarters will each adopt a family in need to make their Holidays extra special. In addition, a portion of proceeds from Hoffman’s Chocolates’ online sales made from October 15 through December 20, will be donated to Neighbors4Neighbors with the use of the code “N4N25” at checkout.

 

Hoffman’s Chocolates Palm Beach stores will adopt their families through the Kids Cancer Foundation and its Broward Stores will adopt families through the Jessica June Cancer Foundation. The store managers of each Hoffman’s Chocolates store will take their team out for a day of shopping to purchase gifts from the family’s Christmas wish list.

The adopted families will be treated to Hoffman’s Chocolates, confections and ice cream. They will also be able to experience the holiday light display in the gardens and receive their presents straight from Santa Claus himself.

Hoffman’s Chocolates’ Winter Wonderland lights up South Florida

Those wanting to get into the winter holiday spirit needn’t go far, as Hoffman’s Chocolates’ 25th Annual Winter Wonderland in Greenacres is officially open to the public.

The holiday display, which is free, has become an annual tradition for many South Florididans who annually make the pilgrimage to the garden at 5190 Lake Worth Road. It’s open 6-10 p.m. nightly.
