NSU Experiential Learning Partnership

This was an opportunity for BBX Capital Foundation, Hoffman’s Chocolates, and the Department of Writing and Communication in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences of Nova Southeastern University to collaborate on an experiential experience for students. With BBX Capital underwriting the curriculum and Hoffman’s donating all of the product, current NSU undergraduate Communication students created chocolate-retail product mockups over the course of an eight-week course. The class gave students the time to generate a proposed chocolate product, create visual design elements, and strategize promotional campaigns with depth and nuance. It also gave students, keen on translating their communication knowledge into practical experiences, an incredible opportunity to share their talents in the real world

We’ve teamed up with Funky Buddha Brewery to mix beer & chocolate

Hoffman’s Chocolates is pleased to announce a new gourmet chocolate truffle flavor created with Funky Buddha Brewery’s No Crusts Peanut Butter and Jelly Brown Ale– No Crusts Dark Chocolate Truffle. The namesake truffles come in a four-pack that retail for $12.95 per box. They are now available at more than 80 Publix Supermarkets in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The No Crusts Dark Chocolate Truffles will also be available at Funky Buddha Brewery located in Oakland Park and Hoffman’s Chocolates retail locations in Broward and Palm Beach Counties later this month, while supplies lasts.

“The opportunity for our two brands to align, creating such a unique chocolate and beer flavor profile, was an idea that we loved collaborating on together,” said President of Hoffman’s Chocolates Randall Vitale.  “Seeing the great response we have had, we hope to work on other Funky Buddha beer-infused confections in the near future.”

Hoffman’s Chocolates and Funky Buddha Brewery, two South Florida legendary food and beverage companies, have been collaborating on this unique peanut butter and jelly truffle flavor since the fall as part of the Brewery’s Celebrate Local Pairings program. The four-pack of No Crusts Dark Chocolate Truffles are being sold alongside Funky Buddha No Crusts Peanut Butter and Jelly Brown Ale at select Publix locations throughout the holiday season.

“Funky Buddha and Hoffman’s have had a fantastic collaborative relationship over the years, and the No Crusts Dark Chocolate Truffle represents a continued evolution of that partnership,” says John Linn, Marketing Director for Funky Buddha Brewery. “We’re thrilled to work with such a dynamic local company that takes innovative products and flavors as seriously as we do.”

Celebrate the Season with Fall Flavors and Specialty Halloween and Thanksgiving Treats

Hoffman’s Chocolates is pleased to celebrate the fall season with the launch of its fall flavors and Halloween-inspired offerings. The South Florida gourmet chocolatier will offer several limited-edition treats including its Apple Cinnamon or Pumpkin Spice Truffles (5 pack), Pumpkin Spice Expresso Beans, Turkey Lollipals; and Halloween Oreo Cookies; and its classic Chocolate Haunted House.

 

All South Florida stores will also feature gourmet fall ice cream flavors including Pumpkin, Apple Pie and Carrot Cake. Guests can have these flavors blended to create their own seasonal milkshake.

 

Specialty fall treats offered at Hoffman’s Chocolates include:

Hoffman’s Chocolates is also excited to announce its schedule of Halloween-themed Children’s Chocolatier Classes Build-A-Chocolate Haunted House where attendees can build a chocolate house and decorate it with colorful candy toppings. The classes will take place at its Greenacres factory store, located at 5190 Lake Worth Road.

 

During the class, young chocolatiers will have the opportunity to be creative and assemble and design their own chocolate haunted houses using icing, festive candies and confections. The 2-hour classes will take place various times throughout October. All classes include a guided window tour of the chocolate factory, a video presentation of The History of Chocolate, and a sampling of Hoffman’s gourmet ice cream. The cost to participate in these classes is $24.95 per person. Space is limited.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Ice Cream Tacos

On May 5th and May 6th, Hoffman’s Chocolates will celebrate Cinco de Mayo by offering special Ice Cream Tacos at its Plantation location in the Fountains Shopping Center. The Ice Cream Tacos are served in a waffle cone shell filled with two heaping scoops of ice cream and are topped off with the guests’ choice of unlimited toppings ($6.95).

Hoffman’s Chocolates has also joined forces with LIME Fresh Mexican Grill Cinco de Mayo celebrations being held on Friday, May 5th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, May 6th from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. At the event, Hoffman’s Chocolates will have a tent outside its store filled with activities like giant jenga and cornhole.  Plus, the Hoffman’s Chocolate Wheel will also be there and can be spun to redeem prizes. Captain Hoffman might even make an appearance!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! New sundae, facepainting & contests!

HOFFMAN’S CHOCOLATES TO CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK’S DAY WITH LUCKY LEPRECHAUN SUNDAE & FREE ICE CREAM FOR A YEAR CONTEST

WHAT: Hoffman’s Chocolates will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by offering a special, limited-edition Lucky Leprechaun Sundae, Shamrock Oreos® and other holiday-themed treats.  The Lucky Leprechaun Sundaes are comprised of two scoops of mint chip ice cream topped with whipped cream, a decorated Shamrock Oreo cookie and special-edition Green Clover Lucky Charms® cereal.

In addition, each store will be adorned with festive green balloons and shamrock decorations, and face painters will be at each location at varying times (please see below) to entertain the kids. The chocolatier will also host an in-store contest that day for guests to enter to win FREE ice cream for a year. One winner will be selected from all entries received at all store locations. Love Wins cookies raise money for OneOrlando Fund

Hoffman’s Chocolates is proud to announce that it will be supporting the Orlando, Florida community by donating a portion of sales of its special edition Love Wins Oreos® Box of 3 to the OneOrlando Fund. The South Florida chocolatier has created these special cookies, designed with a Love Wins logo, a rainbow heart and rainbow sprinkles, to signify its support of the victims of the Pulse Night Club tragedy, their families and the LGBTQ community. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer recently announced the formation of the OneOrlando Fund (#OrlandoUnited), to help provide financial support to the victims of the tragedy and their families.

Hoffman’s Chocolates Love Wins Oreos® Box of 3 costs $6.50 per pack and Hoffman’s will donate $1.00 of each pack sold to the OneOrlando Fund. The Love Wins Oreos® will be available at Hoffman’s Chocolates nine retail locations in Broward and Palm Beach Counties and online at Hoffmans.com beginning the week of June 27th.

What new tasty treat is Hoffman’s Chocolates selling?

Hoffman’s Chocolates is offering what it’s calling a “decadent” new line of gourmet caramel apples to its wide selection of chocolate and confections.

The new apples debuted Monday in eight locations in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. There’s a Hoffman’s Chocolate on Lake Avenue and another on Lake Worth Road in Greenacres.

Hoffman’s Chocolates is raising the bar for arts and culture with the introduction of its new limited-edition Art Bars Collection of chocolates.

The Art Bars Collection includes six unique chocolate bar flavors with package designs featuring the artwork of six renowned South Florida artists. The six ounce bars are now available for purchase at all Broward and Palm Beach County Hoffman’s Chocolates retail locations and will be in stores while inventory lasts.
